Our first teleconference will take place the last week in January featuring guest lecturer Mr. Arun Rimal, Professional Engineer. A renowned structural engineer and entrepreneur, Arun lives in Princeton, New Jersey, and runs his own engineering firm as well as an NGO that helps build structures for underprivileged persons. He is currently working on building hospital facilities in Western Nepal and a self-sustaining, innovative education institution in the Kathmandu Valley.
Arun grew up in Nepal and then moved to the United States in his twenties, where he attended Columbia University to attain his master’s degree in engineering. Since then, Arun has held prominent positions in both business and education. His background and experience offers a unique perspective on helping Nepalese students adapt to the challenges of the global marketplace.
