Social Work happens to be one of the most revered courses since it instills people in the quality and skills to help marginalized groups of people. There are plenty of both public and private colleges that offer BSW in Nepal. Colleges offer BSW courses affiliated with TU, KU, and PU.
2 years back, BSW used to be a 3-year course. Now, however, it is taught for 4 years. The general fees of bachelor’s in social work range from NPR 2 lakhs to 7 lakhs for 4 years. Likewise, Masters in Social Work (MSW) costs around NPR 4 to 8 Lakhs for 2 years.
The eligibility criteria for studying BSW in Nepal is: students should pass +2 with a minimum of 45%. To be eligible for a master’s in social work, students must pass a 3 year or4 year bachelor from a recognized college or university with a minimum of the second division.
