'Normalizing Mental Illness' - The human world is facing numerous challenges. Every new day with new disorders. With the expanding horizon of Mental Health, Samriddhi College has been providing best education in the field of Psychology. It offers four Year Bachelor's Degree Course in Psychology affiliated to Tribhuvan University. Psychology is basically the foundation to understand the overt behavior and covert higher-level mental processes of any individual or group.
In Samriddhi, joining Psychology as major subject will explore the students toward various psychometric assessment tools, psychological labs, experiments, psychological researches, course and career based field visits and residential camps. Since, lately, Supreme Court (December 2024) has also ordered reforms in Mental Health Policy; it is leading the wider scope in the field of Mental Health. We assure coverage of students from simple classroom role-play to exposure of them to real world psychologists working in various mental health field and their internship placement in psychological organizations as well. Minimum 250 hours of field experience in every year is a mandatory task for students for enhancing their skills. Various non-credit courses designed for our valued students will absolutely equip our emerging mental health professionals with best skills and hands on experiences. Playing with human emotions, behavior, and cognition is a very sensitive zone. More exploration, both in theoretical and practical field, leads to more insights. Students seeking admission in Psychology must have secured at least a D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12.
Passed +2 or Intermediate or PCL from TU or from any other institution recognized by TU with a minimum of 45% marks.
+2 or equivalent level of education from any Board/ Institutions/ Universities recognized by TU.
Only those students who have passed the interview will be eligible for admission.
