Connecting Culture and Social Work: Heritage Walk for BSW Students

Samriddhi College successfully organized a memorable Heritage Walk for BSW students at Madhyapur Thimi, as part of their academic engagement in the Social Work program.

The walk offered students an immersive experience to explore the area’s rich cultural heritage while reflecting on the importance of preservation and community identity. By visiting historical sites and interacting with the local environment, students gained deeper insight into how cultural understanding complements the principles of social work.

This experiential learning activity helped bridge theory with practice, reinforcing the role of social workers in promoting and preserving cultural values within communities.
