Unleashing Student Innovation: Hult Prize at Samriddhi College 2024/25 Concludes with Impact
The Hult Prize at Samriddhi College for the academic year 2024/25 concluded successfully, showcasing the power of student innovation in addressing global challenges. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the event encouraged participants to develop sustainable business solutions under the theme “UNLIMITED,” promoting unrestricted, purpose-driven creativity.
Led by Campus Director Pranjal Kharel, the event was organized by a dynamic team including Binisha Basnet, Sushant Dhungel, Ishika Khadka, Subekshya Kharel, Sajin Shrestha, Lishan Acharya, Dikshya Thapa, Sabnam Adhikari, Kshitij Dahal, Ukesh Prajapati, and Sangam Bakhunchhe. Their collaborative efforts ensured a well-executed and inspiring competition.
Outstanding teams delivered compelling pitches:
- Starstrike Squad won the competition.
- Dream Builders and The Pirates took the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.
- Team Junkiri received the Best Pitch award for their powerful presentation.
The judging panel – Pryash Pokharel (CEO, Digipal Technology), Suman Maharjan (Director of Operations, Fusemachines), and Neeraj Pradhan (Co-founder, Skill Square) – offered valuable feedback rooted in industry experience, enriching the participants’ learning journey.
Sponsors including Ather Nepal, Deego Nepal, Nhu Designs, and Vision Cart significantly contributed to the event’s vibrant and professional environment, reinforcing their commitment to youth innovation.
Overall, the event went beyond being a competition – it was a transformative experience, helping students refine their ideas and instilling in them the confidence and creativity to become future changemakers.

OnCampus Program & Open Application
To start with Hult Prize, students compete in Qualifier Rounds via the On Campus Program or Open Application. Winners and selected startups advance to the National Competitions.

The National Competitions
Winners of On Campus Programs and top startups from the Open Application will compete in national events against teams from their countries/territories.

The Digital Incubator
The Hult Prize Digital Incubator will Welcome up to 60 startups to refine ideas, develop MVPs, and create go-to-market strategies with support from workshops and expert mentors.

Global Accelerator
Top startups from the incubator will join the global Accelerator at Hult Ashrige Castle. London, in 2025. This intensive program offers education, mentorship, networking, and demo days, helping startups scale quickly and bring their innovations to market.

Global Finals
At the Global Finals, six startups will pitch live to judges for a chance to win the $1 million Hult Prize, showcasing their passion, innovation, and dedication on a global stage.
