Samriddhi College took part in the Youth Hackfest 2025, a renowned national hackathon festival held from March 27 to 31, 2025, at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel. The event, organized under the umbrella of the World Youth Festival 2025, served as a significant gathering of tech-savvy students and professionals from across Nepal, aiming to drive digital transformation and foster collaboration between academia and industry.
Participants engaged in solving pressing challenges across key themes such as Agriculture, Health, Tourism, Transportation, and Disaster Management. The hackathon encouraged innovation in several technical domains, including AI & Machine Learning, IoT & Smart Sensors, Blockchain, GIS & Remote Sensing, and AR/VR. Teams were expected to work using modern tech stacks—React.js/Next.js for frontend; Flutter or React Native for mobile; Node.js or Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) for backend; along with PostgreSQL, Firebase, or MongoDB for databases; and tools like Google Maps API, OpenAI API, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Representing Samriddhi College were Devraj Khatiwada, Pranjal Kharel, Ronish Ghimire, and Nayan Nepal. They immersed themselves in this dynamic environment, demonstrating strong teamwork, inventive thinking, and the ability to address real-world issues through technology. Their participation reflects the college’s commitment to nurturing innovation, practical skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students.
Samriddhi College commends our participants for their enthusiasm and initiative, and looks forward to more such platforms where our students can contribute meaningfully and build impactful solutions for Nepal’s digital future.
